WJ Davis Drilling is our specialist rock drilling business based in Wondunna, serving regional Queensland and northern New South Wales. We bring decades of specialist drilling experience to utility, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects. We specialise in drilling power pole foundation holes and pre-drilling for defective pole replacements in hard rock. We also provide foundation and pier drilling for building contractors, along with hard rock pre-drilling to support screw piling installations. Our 30-tonne rig utilises a Korean-built down-the-hole hammer drill to penetrate dense rock formations that conventional augers struggle to handle. With our compact, low-clearance bore lift, we can undertake drilling beneath overhead wires and in restricted-headroom environments. We regularly service South East Queensland, Toowoomba, Grafton and the Northern Rivers, with a flexible equipment setup that supports access to remote and challenging sites.
