3D Laser scanning is the fastest, most accurate, and semi-automated method employed today to acquire 3D digital data for reverse engineering and retrofit/modification to as-built assets. By the use of specialised software, the point cloud data is used to create a 3D CAD model of the assets geometry or by using the point cloud directly one can optimize modifications/retrofit; fast, efficient and accurate.
By welding a pattern of wear resistant studs onto exposed metal surfaces, acting as a barrier between the wear surface and the material being worked or moved, the wear resistant studs are sacrificially worn down before the exposed surface of the working equipment is worn down. The material caught in the spaces between the wear resistant studs, or the Rock Box, acts as an additional barrier. By virtue of speed and ease of application our wearstuds can be applied four (4) times faster and lasting three to ten times longer than wear-plates or hardfacing which dramatically reduces the dead weight, by eliminating the use of wear plates, they can be applied locally, ie, on all or part-of multiple mining and quarrying machinery and equipment. They can withstand extreme impact and abrasion in harsh and varied mining environments as reflected by our long-term End-User Testimonials, and
They have proven the test of time, are user-friendly, transportable, adaptable and price-competitive
We have designed a standard bolt head that sits in a tapered hole, making for quicker, safer, easier installation of the liner plates.
The steel used for the bolt is made with the same grade steel as the liner plate.
The liner plate can be cut with our CNC plasma profile cutter to any dimension. The bolts are manufactured in our Kalgoorlie-Boulder workshop using precision technology.
