Coastal Sands is located in Woongoolba, midway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast just 10 minutes from the M1 near Jacobs Creek. Our site is on 240 acres and operates through all weather to ensure a consistent and reliable experience when choosing Coastal Sands.

We are on site and open for all your sand requirements from 6am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 6:30am to 11:00am Saturday.

Our sand products can be delivered in bulk or in Bulka Bags up to 1.3 tonne/1 cubic metre

Coastal Sands is an independent supplier of high quality sand to the South East Queensland region. The owners have 150 years of Agribusiness in the area. Our site is conveniently located midway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast near the M1 Highway.

Our sand meets the Australian Standard for Concrete Aggregate and Concrete Products (AS 1141) and is also suitable for a wide range of other building site sand applications including Block and Brick Laying Sand, Solid Rendering, Top Dressing, Pipe and Gas Backfilling and Soft Fall Sand Applications

We offer Bioretention Filter Media (FAWB Engineered sand) which is independently tested in NATA approved laboratories and complies with all necessary government criteria set out by FAWB, Healthy Waterways, WSUD and Water by Design Construction Guidelines.

Our Soft Fall Sand has been certified for nation wide use in playground applications up to 2.5 meters high.

For all our sands, we offer the convenience of Bagged Sand in 1 cubic metre bags that are easily transported and ideal for high rise developments or any applications where site access space and double handling can be a problem.

Quality Assurance

Coastal Sands conducts routine testing on all of our product lines through our Quality Assurance Management System. Testing regimes range from daily through to biannually depending on products and prerequisites on demand.

Our onsite laboratory carries out routine tests on the physical properties of our products, ensuring stockpile consistency. Additionally, we outsource our testing to NATA labs for chemical and physical properties to ensure all aspects of quality assurance are covered. Product certification and specific testing suites can be accessed on request.
