Do you Need a Licence to Operate a Scraper?

Summary: Currently, to operate a scraper you don’t require a licence. The person conducting or undertaking business on a worksite must determine whether you are competent in operating machinery. This usually means that you should undertake formal training where you will be provided with a competency card. This card in combination with specific training with the relevant scraper by the person undertaking or conducting business will mean that you are certified to use a scraper.

$280 million Granville Harbour Wind Farm set to begin construction after receiving green light

Tasmania's Granville Harbour Wind Farm is set to begin construction shortly after receiving its required funding. This 112 megawatt is expected to generate enough electricity to power more than 46,000 homes.     The project, which has received funding from the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC), will deliver a one-third increase to Tasmania's wind power capacity.
