Victorian Bluestone Quarries was chosen as the exclusive supplier of bluestone to prestigious Hamer Hall. Victorian Bluestone Quarries is the proud stone supplier to the 2008 winner of the Australian Stone Architectural Award for the Best Residential Project. This was for a private residence in South Yarra, Melbourne which involved bluestone cladding in various sizes and thicknesses.

Quarry Stones & Dimension Stone

Victorian Bluestone quarry stones are extracted in Lara, south-west of Melbourne and only 45 minutes from Melbourne City.

Our quarry extracts dimension stone which is generally used for building materials. The term dimension stone is used to describe the final product cut to size and completed to meet project requirements. The purpose of dimension stone quarrying is to obtain blocks or slabs of bluestone to satisfy particular specifications in regards to size and shape. This is then used in building applications.
