Trace Archaeology are specialists with vast experience in the planning, coordination and conduct of ground penetrating radar (GPR) assessments in both Indigenous Australian and historical contexts throughout Australia. 

GPR is a geophysical technique that uses radar pulses to reveal and document the Earth’s subsurface. This method is completely non-invasive and uses electromagnetic radiation (in the form of a microwave band of the radio spectrum) to detect the reflected signals from subsurface structures and features.
