Sure Search is 100% South Australian owned and operated pipe and cable location company that has been providing professionals with specialist underground services since 1994. Sure Search is one of the longest standing professional locating services in Adelaide.

Sure Search has been involved in the Service Location Industry for over 16 years, servicing the building industry and building up relationships with multiple long term clients.

Leo Vink, (director) has been working with location and earthmoving equipment since 1987, and started Sure Search to fill a Niche he thought was missing in South Australia.

Our team are all Telstra accredited and have a wide ranging background in the civil industry having been directly and indirectly involved in pipeline construction, telecommunication infrastructure, electrical conduit laying and civil plumbing over the last twenty five years.

We are all adept in locating all traceable and some non-traceable services such as Water pipes, Gas pipes, Sewer pipes, Storm water pipes, Telstra and communication cables, ETSA and other power cables, Street light cables, Irrigation cables and other empty conduits.

All markings are colour coded to the international colour standards for convenience and easy recognition.

Sure Search are capable of undertaking multiple / Large jobs and are happy to work in remote regions. We have in the past sold our services in most area’s of South Australia for various customers including Dept for Transport, ETSA Utilities, SA Water, Origin Energy and we are presently the preferred locating company for 60% of all local Government councils. 

As we have been in the industry for so many years, we have established a very good reputation amongst many earthmoving contractors including York Civil, Hanson & Yunken, ADCIV, Catcon, Camco, BJ Jarrad and SEM Civil to name only a few of whom we carry out regular work.

Equipment

Our equipment is regularly (every twelve months) returned to Subsite Australia for calibrating. (Subsite state that this is not necessary but we have adopted this practice as a matter of course, which also adheres to Telstra accreditation requirements.)

The Equipment we use is current model Subsite Pipe and cable location equipment;

As Back up we also carry our earlier model Subsite 65 R/T. and a Metrotech 480

For our safety and the safety of others around us we carry Crowcon four gas, personal gas detectors. Re Calibrated every six months. ( CSA approved.) As well as Telstra Manhole barriers and enough Witches hats to cover vehicles.

We are also equipped with rotating warning beacons for our vehicles.
