High Quality Sand Resource
The South Ballina Sand Quarry (SBSQ) has been operating in the current location since September 2008.
The sand resource available is of extremely high quality. No other sand resource is available in the area of this quality.
The sand is used for the manufacture of adhesives, grout, levellers and industrial paint. The SBSQ sand in its natural state is 600 microns. The coarser material is also used in cement mixes.
The SBSQ produces high quality white sand suitable for use in all concreting applications and for the manufacture of adhesives, grout, levellers and industrial paint
