Shamrock Quarry

Shamrock Quarry is a newly established operation based on Lloyd Bell Road, Merryburn in the Cassowary Coast Region of North Queensland. The site has been an operational quarry for many years and produces quality material suitable and certified for use with the Department of Transport and Main Roads.

Shamrock Quarry adheres to stringent quality, safety and environmental standards at all times to ensure a zero harm site is maintained for all who work onsite and for the environment in which we operate. 

Shamrock Quarry is situated on the northern flank of Mt Mackay not far from the township of Tully and is a hard rock quarry extracting medium to fine grained granite. The site resource ranges from weathered overburden, predominately decomposed granite and topsoil, and then strikes into strong unweathered granite in the benches below.

The operation has a crushing circuit of approximately 100 tonnes per hour crushing capacity. The site also includes a pug mill with a cement addition capable of producing 200 tonnes per hour.
