Richardson Rural Contracting

Richardson Civil & Rural Earthmoving is a family-owned civil and earthmoving contractor with a modern, well-maintained fleet and the experience to take on jobs right across NSW and interstate. We're based in North Bourke, and we're set up to travel: we regularly float machines long distances and run self-sufficient crews on remote sites, so distance isn't a barrier.

We work for local councils, as a subcontractor to principal contractors on civil and water infrastructure projects, and directly for private clients on farms, stations and residential sites. Recent work includes salt interception scheme works, alongside council, rural and residential jobs.

The business is run by Ryan Richardson, a CAT-trained heavy diesel mechanic who grew up in his family's earthmoving business and has spent his working life on heavy plant. That shows in how we run our gear. Machines are maintained in-house and turn up ready to work, and our operators know how to get the best out of them in all ground conditions.

• Tipper trucks, truck and dog, and floats for machine transport

What we do

Bulk earthworks, civil and road works, GPS-controlled excavation and trimming, dams and channels, trenching, site clearing, haulage and plant floating. We offer wet hire with experienced operators, and dry hire on selected machines.
