RIC Australia is a specialist geotechnical contractor, and we provide ground improvement solutions across Australia using Rapid Impact Compaction and related technologies. We specialise in rehabilitating problematic soil conditions for construction and infrastructure projects using efficient, controlled compaction methods. Our Rapid Impact Compaction process utilises controlled impacts to increase soil bearing capacity, with treatment typically reaching depths of up to six metres. We also provide stone column installation, sheet piling, platform and geotechnical design, and other specialist ground improvement solutions tailored to site conditions. To verify ground performance and completed works, we utilise services including Continuous Surface Wave testing, plate load testing, pile load testing and vibration monitoring. Our Rapid Impact Compaction fleet includes 9-tonne and 12-tonne hydraulic hammers mounted on large Caterpillar excavators, providing efficient mobilisation and high-volume ground treatment.
