Hillmans Transport Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated transport business based in Toowoomba, Queensland. Hillmans Transport operates nationwide as an independent transport company and also as a linehaul supplier for leading Coal Seam Gas Projects and freight distribution company Toll.

The company’s premium, high performance express freight services, for time sensitive freight, covers mine supplies and inputs (chemicals and equipment), major project freight tasks (including CSG project freight), general freight, refrigerated goods, dangerous goods, containerised freight, wide loads and food distribution. Hillman’s Transport can carry any type of road freight from single trailers to road train configurations – doubles, triples and quads over the bitumen and dirt road networks. Current express freight routes cover Western and Central Queensland (including the Surat Basin, Bowen Basin, Rockhampton, Chinchilla, Dalby, Mackay, Gladstone, Longreach, Cloncurry and Mount Isa), Darwin, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane. New routes can be added to suit clients needs at any time. Hillmans can also offer a dedicated Hot Shot service for when urgent deliveries are needed.

Hillmans Transport has a wide range of vehicles from utes, body trucks and prime movers with trailers availaible to suit individual customer needs including 45ft flat tops with container pins, 45ft drop deck with hydraulic loading ramps, curtain sider B-doubles, side loaders and 45 ft – 71ft extendable trailers. Hillmans Transport can offer 100% customisable configurations from single trailers to triple road trains shiftng anything from containers, modular homes, dongas, machinery, pipes, wideloads and general freight to anywhere in Australia.

Hillmans Transport’s primary focus is “doing the job right” the first time. This is achieved through strict compliance with Australia’s road laws and industry guidelines and through our dedicated professional workforce and a strict safety focus. As such we are industry approved and accredited members of Truck Safe, The National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme for Mass & Maintenance and Basic Fatigue Management and certified under the Coal Seam Gas Logistics Safety Code.

The company follows a strict servicing schedule on the fleet. This is carried out by fully qualified diesel mechanics and fitters, and approved suppliers. The Toowoomba depot also features a state of the art weed and seed compliant truck wash facility which uses recycled water to minimise environmental impact and to keep the fleet looking like new.

The Hillmans Transports fleet has an average age of less than 2 years and consists of a variety of B-double and road train rated prime movers. The fleet is constantly being upgraded to take full advantage of new technologies to reduce our carbon footprint and improved efficiencies.  

Hillmans Transport utilises state of the art satellite tracking devices and in-vehicle camera systems installed in every prime mover to monitor position and arrival of freight and to ensure freight is always delivered to its destination in a safe and timely manner.
