Future Quarry Resources

Future Quarry Resources (‘FQR’) has been established to take advantage of the growing disparity between supply and demand of sand and aggregates in South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales. The majority of existing quarries servicing these regions are nearing the end of the approved lives of the quarry and existing quarries are coming under increasing societal pressure as the ever widening urban sprawl approaches these locations.

The demand for sand and aggregates is strongly influenced by economic activity, population and major projects such as highways.
