Conundrum Holdings Pty Ltd

Spanning four generations, our family has been in the extractive sector since the 1950s. Our current directors began as RF Kerr Quarries – and then established Conundrum Holdings in 1988. But since the start, we’ve strived to make a positive change wherever we can.

With years of proven quality and service behind us, our products have been used in major infrastructure projects including the Wimmera Bridge in Horsham, Horsham Civic Centre / Horsham Rural City Council Chambers, Wimmera Base Hospital, various supermarkets and The Horsham Police Station complex.

In more recent years we have also supplied specialty products to GWM Water major head works projects at Taylors Lake, east of Horsham, and Distribution Heads at the foothills of the Grampians.

Northern Quarries

Established in 1992, Northern Quarries once consisted of two landholdings. Having finished quarrying at one site, we reformed it and left it in a safe and stable condition. And the other still supports our customers – via a new entrance on O’Herns Rd.

Stawell Quarry

Acquired in 1995, this quarry has been the western region’s go-to supplier for over two decades – especially for infrastructure projects.

McKenzie Creek Quarry

Active since 1882, our McKenzie Creek Quarry has supported the Horsham area – for over 100 years.

North Central Quarry

Conundrum Holdings is seeking to supply much needed basalt to Victoria’s ever-increasing infrastructure projects. Quality basalt with direct access onto the State road network is exceptionally hard to find.

Our short-life quarry will bring new, wide-ranging local jobs in quarry operations, laboratory testing and site administration. It will support over 1,500 wholesale customers, and 700 suppliers and service providers that we need to function.

Basalt from this site will bring significant economic and community activity to the region and, once rehabilitated, can be incorporated into the urban fabric.

Trading since 1962, our concrete plant has proven its quality and service, time and again. From councils and hospitals to schools and supermarkets, we’ve helped countless clients – and brought countless visions to life.
