It wasn't till after they gave him a wake up call, that he refunded my money."

"VICTORIANS BEWARE of DANIEL GENNARINO CONTE of Conte Concrete and Construction. We had nothing but grief in dealing with Daniel who quoted on a $19,000 backyard concreting job at our home. Daniel requested a $1,000 Deposit after Quotation. Daniel then a few weeks later called up requesting an advance of $7,000 in order to purchase materials. When the backyard was ready to go after our inground pool was completed, the excuses and empty promises kept on coming to why he could not start. It was not until several weeks later after catching him out that he was deliberately trying to avoid coming to our home to do the concreting, so he immediately pulled the "Pin" on our job and requested our bank account details so as to return our money. It took us to write a Letter of Demand and constant requests before he first returned $7,000 and then stringed us along until finally we had the final $1,000 returned. I allege Daniel spent our $8,000 and could no longer afford to complete the job so it was easier to pull out than do what he promised he would do. I allege most if not all his Reviews on here, Oneflare, Iseekplant and Word of Mouth are by family and friends. One person who owns his own concreting business, reviewed Daniel for doing concreting at his home and Daniel returned the favour. No concreters get another concreter to concrete their driveways and paths. Daniel has had several business names and besides his Instagram Account he has five (5) Facebook Profiles and there is where you will find many names who lodge Reviews. Daniel's famous line on his Instagram is "Money for Jam Boys" whilst working away on his crossovers for local councils. I want other people to be aware as he has burnt many a bridge from closed accounts with Concrete supply businesses to a concrete pumping company who had to chase him for outstanding services he had provided Daniel and his business. Daniel even admitted to me on the phone that two large Melbourne Concrete Companies would only sell him concrete from now if he paid up front with cash. No scruples and abhorrent customer service once he has your hard earned money. Before you given him money, he is like your best friend! Read the negative reviews and now after investigating him in depth, I am glad he never came as now I wonder what kind of job we would have got and constantly worried what damage he might have done to our current infrastructure of our home, fences etc. I implore you to Please find someone else to do your concreting as you will thank me in the end. #Winforthelittlepeople"
