BHM Geotechnical provides geotechnical engineering, soil testing and environmental consulting for civil contractors, builders, developers and councils, with offices in the Sydney CBD and Adelaide.

On construction sites, our engineers carry out working platform design and assessments for piling rigs, cranes and tracked plant, crane lift assessment certificates, proof roll testing, compaction and earthworks testing, bearing capacity testing (DCP/PSP) and footing inspections. We also provide pavement investigation and design, and excavation, trench and slope stability assessments.

Before and during development, we deliver geotechnical site investigations and reports for DA and construction, site classification reports to AS 2870, and horizontal directional drilling (HDD) assessments.

Our environmental team classifies excavated soil before it leaves site (VENM, ENM, GSW) and carries out asbestos in soil and acid sulfate soil assessments, preliminary and detailed site investigations (PSI/DSI), remedial action plans and validation. We also prepare expert witness and causation reports.
