AI Consultancy

Ai Consultancy – BCA & Access (DDA) Compliance Consultants, Sydney and Australia-wide

Ai Consultancy (Access i Pty Ltd) is an independent BCA consultant based in Sydney. We advise architects, developers, builders, certifiers, project managers, asset owners and government on Building Code of Australia (BCA), NCC and access (DDA) compliance, from early planning through to completion.

We are not land surveyors, utility locators or building certifiers. We work alongside your certifier and design team to pick up compliance issues early, so they are resolved on paper rather than on site.

What we do

Before you buy or redevelop, we prepare a BCA due diligence assessment and property due diligence BCA report covering compliance risks and likely upgrade works. During design, we carry out BCA design reviews in Sydney and prepare a BCA report for a development application in NSW, a construction certificate or a CDC. For refurbishments and changes of use, we complete a BCA audit of the existing building. Where a design cannot meet the Deemed-to-Satisfy provisions, we act as your BCA performance solution consultant. During construction we carry out BCA site inspections, and at the end of the job we issue a BCA completion statement in NSW to support your occupation certificate.

On the access side, we provide DDA audits, access design reviews and access performance solutions, along with SDA, livable housing, adaptable housing and seniors housing assessments.

Projects we work on

New developments, existing buildings and refurbishments across residential, commercial, hospitality, industrial, education, healthcare, aged care and government. Recent work includes BCA compliance for SummitCare's 112-room, three-storey Class 9c aged care facility in NSW.
