Every successful business begins with a good idea and that is just the case with Santos Ready Mixed Concrete. In 1964 founder Bill Santos decided to start his own business, having just moved to the Riverland from Mildura.

Bill had witnessed the fledgling ready mixed concrete business begin to flourish in Mildura and recognised that there was potential for such a business to thrive in the Riverland.

From humble beginnings the business grew, machinery was purchased and employees hired. Today it is a a thriving family business employing 15 staff with a reputation for supplying a good quality product and providing excellent customer service.

In August 2014, Santos Ready Mixed Concrete celebrated 50 very successful years in business

Concrete Plant

The largest supplier of concrete for the Riverland and surrounding areas, modern fleet of ten Isuzu 6M3 Mixer Trucks. Situated on the Sturt Highway between Berri and Renmark Santos Ready Mixed Concrete Pty Ltd maintains a manufacturing, storage and distribution facility. Santos Ready Mixed Concrete is committed to supplying consistent quality concrete to meet the needs of the building, construction, agricultural and wine industries.

Sand Plant

The Spring Cart Gully sand quarry operates along side the concrete plant and produces, a refined quality washed sand, concrete sands, propagating sand as well as fill material. Numerous sizes of rocks ranging in colour from burnt reds to soft sandstone yellow are in great demand by locals for garden displays
