Hard Rock Earthworks is a locally owned and operated team of professionals specialising in earthmoving on any and all sized projects in and around Townsville, QLD. With our experienced and knowledgeable operators and a wide array of equipment, Hard Rock Earthworks is able to deliver an excellent quality wet or dry hire experience. Following the acquisition of Marathon Quarry in 2006, we are uniquely positioned to provide excellent quality materials such as flood rock, gabion, armour rock and many more. We also facilitate the hire of a large selection of trucks and equipment such as tippers, water trucks, power screens, excavators, bulldozers, crushers and loaders.

Over the years we have been fortunate enough to work on some of Queensland’s most formative projects, such as the Townsville Port Redevelopment, installation of conduits for the Cleveland Water Treatment Plant in Townsville, Queens Road Dump Rehabilitation, and Australian Marine and Civil Erosion Protection. Marathon Quarry is registered with the Department of Transport and Main Roads and complies with quarry assessment requirements. Given the number of machines in our fleet, there is little that gets in the way of completing a job. We have the ability to provide bulk earthworks for both housing and industrial sites including parks and roadways, transportation of hazardous waste.
