CQ Mining Hire is a family-owned company in Queensland. Established in 2012 we have extensive experience in the mining industry as well as experience in civil and rail. This has helped us develop a comprehensive understanding of the importance of safety and reliability. CQ Mining Hire specialises in water trucks (non-potable), service trucks and earthmoving equipment for long-term or short-term hire. Offering brands such as, Isuzu, Mack and CAT, that have DRY and WET options.

To help achieve safety we have modern machines that are designed and built with mining in mind. This means safety features such as ROPS, FOPS, reflective stripes and signage, detailed operating manuals, regular and detailed maintenance, brake tests, door alarms and reverse cameras.  

We also fit out our earthmoving machines with upgraded pressurised HVAC systems. This is to help ensure the operator's respiratory health is maintained by providing cleaner cabin air even in the dustiest environments.

To achieve machine reliability, we have modern machines that are maintained regularly. But we also have a good relationship with OEM and other support services. CQ Mining Hire also keeps an array of spare parts and equipment to help reduce downtimes. Also, we are equipped with tooling, procedures and equipment to complete planned and unplanned maintenance tasks. Having a fleet of like equipment also helps with knowing what parts to have and faster fault diagnosis.
